Who is Agatha Christie ?

Agatha Christie, in full Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie, née Miller, (conceived September 15, 1890, Torquay, Devon, England—passed on January 12, 1976, Wallingford, Oxfordshire), English analyst author and writer whose books have sold in excess of 100 million duplicates and have been converted into around 100 dialects.

Instructed at home by her mom, Christie started composing analyst fiction while filling in as a medical attendant during World War I. Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles (1920), presented Hercule Poirot, her unusual and pretentious Belgian criminal investigator; Poirot returned in around 25 books and numerous short stories prior to getting back to Styles, where, in Curtain (1975), he passed on. The old maid Miss Jane Marple, her other head investigator figure, first showed up in Murder at the Vicarage (1930). Christie's first significant acknowledgment accompanied The Murder of Roger Ackroyd (1926), which was trailed by around 75 books that normally made smash hit records and were serialized in mainstream magazines in England and the United States.
